RESC Laboratory

An international space for reflection, dialogue and applied responsibility.

The RESC Laboratory is where Responsibility Culture moves from reflection into practice. It brings together researchers, professionals, institutions and citizens in recurring formats of dialogue, exchange and public engagement — turning the principles of RESC into lived, shared experience.

The RESC Lab is conceived as an open cultural and scientific space for dialogue. It does not seek consensus or adherence, but encourages respectful exchange among people, institutions and scholars interested in exploring Responsibility Culture from different cultural and disciplinary perspectives.

Where The Model and The Framework articulate the conceptual architecture of responsibility, the Laboratory is where that architecture is tested, discussed and enriched through direct human exchange.

The Laboratory welcomes contributions from researchers, institutions, universities, professionals, educators, innovators, cultural actors and citizens interested in responsible societies.

Formats

Il Dubbio e la Chiarezza (Doubt and Clarity)

A literary and scientific salon — a recurring, informal space where doubt and clarity meet. Participants explore responsibility, ethics and human-centred governance through literature, ideas and open conversation, in the conviction that culture is built as much through dialogue as through doctrine.

Webinars

Thematic, accessible sessions open to a wider public. Each webinar explores one dimension of Responsibility Culture — from AI accountability to ethical leadership — connecting RESC’s research agenda with the questions people are asking today.

Public Dialogues with a Sociological Background

Public conversations that read responsibility, power and institutional change through a sociological lens — examining how social structures, inequalities and collective dynamics shape, and are shaped by, responsibility in contemporary societies. These dialogues bring an empirical, social perspective to complement RESC’s ethical and conceptual foundations.
