The Journal is where the Responsibility Culture framework meets the world, one sector at a time. Each piece published here asks the same underlying question in a different setting — artificial intelligence, leadership, education, gender equality, entrepreneurship — namely, what changes when responsibility is understood not as a rule to enforce or a behaviour to display, but as a human capacity that can be formed, developed, and exercised.
This is the exploratory layer of a longer research trajectory. The essays published here are deliberately written for a broad audience, in order to build the framework in public and stress-test it against real cases before it is formalised into academic argument. The same lines of inquiry are being developed in parallel as peer-reviewed papers and academic contributions, submitted to scientific journals and presented at international conferences. The Journal, as it exists today, is the first stage of that trajectory.
The next stage is The Journal of RESC: a peer-reviewed scientific journal, developed to recognised editorial standards, dedicated to the study of responsibility as a transversal capacity across disciplines and sectors. The essays collected here are its working ground.
The Journal is curated by Ines Caloisi with the aim of contributing to a renewed culture of real responsibility. It is also part of her ongoing PhD research at the University of Málaga.
